Over the past 5 years we've had just the greatest time brewing beer and sharing it with you all. We can hardly recognize the brewery and even ourselves when we look back on, really, the 5 longest and shortest years of our lives.
About the only things that have held fast throughout, well, everything is our love of beer and creating and perfecting brews, Once a year we allow ourselves a little freedom to shoot for the moon in the form of the styles of beer we call boozy Belgians. They are grand and stoic and everything we love about beer and are a perfect anniversary gift to ourselves.
Thanks so much for allowing us to truly do what we love.

5th anniversary from Lacombe brewery.
Pours dark brown with reddish highlights - finger of khaki-tan head.
Aroma is malty - brown sugar, raisin, dark fruit - bready with note of toffee and hint of cherry.
Tastes of sweet bready malt, toffee, date, prunes - molasses and a bit of burnt caramel bittersweetness.
Moderately full and boozy mouthfeel on decent carbonation that faded with time - leaves with a smooth rich malty sweetness.
