Oh man! Amber-brown in colour with a skiff of tight white head. The aroma is of raisins and candy. The taste is alcohol forward but there's a good balance of bitterness to offset the potentially over-the-top sweetness, which it doesn't have. Just a nice sweet aftertaste. More raisins and malt, hints of chocolate. Outstanding-- don't let the size of th ecan fool you-- this punches well above its size.

Clear caramel reddish brown pour with no head to speak of.
Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, bourbon - boozy - a touch earthy.
Tastes of boozy sweet toffee, molasses, slightly of prune, bourbon, and a not insignificant earthy bitterness.
Medium full mouthfeel - not at all syrupy, but certainly boozy with a lingering bittersweet heat.
