Collaboration with Field Brewing Co.
Sea to sky to plain with the Great Boreal Foreast amist and the thrusting mounts of the Rockies dividing. This is our landscape, our home, and our touchstone. We brew these beers looking out at the beauty in our own world.
With friends we've brewed this one thinking of the future, to new beers and new horizons. This is a Cold IPA - a clean and oh-so-crisp layered IPA. This one will open up and expand and satisfy. Grab one and grab a spot on a deck or patio and take it all in.

A "Cold IPA" - a first for me.
Appearance - Pours a hazy straw with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, piney, citrus, floral, leafy, and herbal hops, lager yeast, citrus and grapefruit peel, light pine resin, bready malts, and caramel.
Taste - earthy, piney, citrus, floral, leafy, and herbal hops upfront. The pine resin delivers a nice punch alongside the citrus and grapefruit peel. The lager yeast, bready malts, and caramel round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with all elements lingering.
Overall - An interesting style of an IPA that delivers a nice punch from the lager yeast while the true characteristics of the classic West Coast IPA help to make this brew stand out,

Pours a pale slightly less than clear straw yellow colour with two plus fingers of puffy white head.
Citrus hop burst aroma - tropical, smells of lemon drop, but still some grassy floral malt notes.
Hop forward on the palate - grapefruit zest, citrus, lemon - moderate bitterness. Malt presence is definitely apparent - grassy, cereal note.
Medium mouthfeel - lighter than expected for 7% ABV which is very well hidden. Crisp dry bitterness at the finish.
Could be convinced a really hoppy pilsner.
