Work vs. play. Wild vs. controlled. Thinking vs. feeling.
And with this foeder-aged Marzen, a nod to one of the most famous lagers of all. Historically aged in large wooden tanks in Bavarian cellars, today you'll find Marzens at one of the most joyous celebrations around - Oktoberfest.

Clear copperish amber pour with perhaps a finger of khaki/tawny coloured head that fades shortly.
Malty on the nose - fresh bread, toast with toffee and caramel notes - at the back there is just a hint of smokiness and a hint of oak.
Tastes of bready caramel malt - moderately sweet with an earthy hop character giving just a touch of a balancing beck end bitterness.
Smooth clean medium, drifting to full, mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a crisp refreshing finish on a cold February evening.
