Big beer in a small can. That's the base idea of our lovely little stubby cans. And for this one, we're heavily inspired by the flavours of Mexico. And especially with their bold, smoky and beautiful spirit - mezcal. Made from the heart of the agave plant, and smoked in earthen ovens it provides the perfect counterpoint and counter-balance to the citrus of a mezcalita of which it lends its name.
Filled with the flavours of orange and lime and peppers and smoke and salt, this one will refresh and impress. Pour into a glass with a salted rim for a delightful cocktail.
Salud!

8 ounce can from the brewery. Style - gose like. Paired with tacos, well, because....
Pours a slight murky/foggy golden yellow with short lived white head.
Nose has a hit of citrus/lime, lime zest with an earthy aroma and notes of wood and smokiness.
Taste follows with an earthy salinity, lime; mildly tart and again a subtle smoky and oaky flavour
Medium full mouthfeel with somewhat muted carbonation, slightly sharp salty citrus tartness on the finish and an at least moderately hidden 10.6% ABV.
Not generally my style but this is really good.
