Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours black with an inch of light tan head. The nose is chocolate, toffee, vanilla, maple, bourbon, slightly burnt marshmallows, dark bread, and a bit of black licorice. The taste is fantastic. Sharp roasted malts, vanilla, burnt toffee, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, and dark fruits. I love a barrel-aged stout that isn't overly dominated by the barrel. This is a great marriage. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied. Sweet and bitter on the aftertaste.
