So, a few yeas ago we launched our Longshadows IPA. It was a fun beer for us. Nobody had put as many hops into a beer in Alberta. we were told it was a waste of hops, that less would be just fine. We disagreed. We though that folks would dig the citrusy, piney. fruity aroma and flavour of the heavy dry-hopping in it, the crisp dryness that tastes like one more. We hope you have.

To celebrate Longshadows, we've got here its big sister - where we've turned things up and haven't held back. Big, bold, hoppy and delicious is what we're going for with it. We've added a tonne of late hops to it and riffed on the Longshadows artwork we love. And, in that vein, keep an eye out for our Longshadows IPA in a fresh new can design out in the world. It's a special one for us.

Big brother of Long Shadows.
Pours a very slightly hazy (near clear) golden colour with finger of short lived tight bubbly white head.
Citrus and pine on opening the can but in the glass more grainy slightly grassy malt, a touch fruity with an apple note.
Grainy malt sweetness initially on the palate - citrus hops - touch of lemon, pink grapefruit, hint of pine, still a bit sweet and fruity with a boozy presence overpowering slightly - soft bitterness.
Medium full mouthfeel - a touch sweet and boozy. Decent and drinkable but little brother Long Shadows is far superior IPA.

Addendum: Oof - just read the can notes (very long) and misogyny on my part. Brewery refers to this as Longshadows' BIG SISTER.
