Well, after a couple years of cancelled anniversaries, we’re throwing ourselves a big celebration with this one. We deserve it, right? And more importantly so do yo. So celebrate with us like the Belgians do with a big, bold, dark beer. With a tonne of malt character, a beautiful yeast profile and the addition of our own in-house made Belgian Candi sugar to round it all out. It will remind you of a Flanders pub that you’ve never been to, but you’ll pledge to one day make the pilgrimage to. Or, make the pilgrimage out to sunny Lacombe to join us in our brand new taproom. (With tacos!) We’ll raise a glass with you and celebrate the simple joy of a great beer on a great day.

Thanksgiving Dinner (Canadian style)
Pours a very dark brown - almost black - with brief appearance of a tan coloured head.
Malty and yeasty on the nose - molasses, plum, bready with a soft vinous note.
Tastes sweet, plummy with notes of brown sugar, molasses, perhaps a hint of currant, and Belgian yeast: just a hint of booziness.
Medium mouthfeel - thinner than 8% might suggest - but with a richness from the boozy warmth and sweetness. Really good.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
