As with many newer breweries, whose Belgian beers are most noteworthy for their strong Belgian yeast characteristics, this one has some fruitiness and spiciness and is fairly phenolic, has a crispness I don't always get from the style. Now as a tripel I'm not so sure the beer works. The alcohol is so well-disguised I want to say it's a detriment. If I had to guess in a blind taste test I'd say this was a blonde, which is not a compliment, even though this is not a bad beer. It just doesn't stand out.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
