Short Review. I was not a fan of this one and it isn't a great example of a Pale Ale, the hops are light and barely noticeable and it was flat and watery. This one needs some work to be truer to style. I wouldn't buy this one again.

16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 6/24/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a dense cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/herbal/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balanced of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness; increasing through the glass to a bit of lingering hop astringency; but it’s not overwhelming. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an awesome American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balanced of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Had from a pint can at Fowling Warehouse in Hamtramck, MI. This special Pale Ale was brewed in honor of Detroit City Football Club, and the can is decorated with Detroit's flag, DCFC's team colors of Rouge and Gold, and features DCFC's logo on the front of the can.
The beer itself is crisp, smooth, and easy-drinking, with a very pleasant balance of inviting maltiness and a refreshing hop bite.
