The largest natural giant ever recorded was a man named Black Angus from Cape Breton. He would dead lift anchors to pass the time. If you’re a giant struggling to open this seemingly tiny bottle:
1. Hold it between the thumb and index finger of your left hand, being careful not to crush it.
2. Gently flick the cap off with the index finger of your right hand.
3. Enjoy the mouthful of ale, a delicious citrusy mix of Chinook, Centennial, Cascade and Citra hops.
4. Repeat as desired

A- 16oz can into a goblet with a hazy golden orange body and a one centimeter thick and frothy head. Pretty good head retention and plentiful sheets of thin lacing.
S- Bright citrus hops with stone and tropical fruits backing them as well as floral hops. Not much suggestion of malts or sweetness allowing bright grapefruit and tangerine to shine. Dank weed, mango and melon backdrop.
T- Somehow not as bright as the aroma but the same general theme plays out. The juicy melon hops gain a bit of strength to complement the tangerine, grapefruit and orange up front. A bit bready from the yeast and the grains but mostly hops on the taste buds.
MF- Creamy and frothy light-medium bodied IPA. The carbonation is on the high side but the smooth and silky texture makes it feel great.
Bright citrus hops with a good portion of juicy melon to back them especially as the beer warms up a bit. Clean and well balanced.

Appearance - Pours a rusty copper with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, earthy, leafy, and piney hops, bready malts, hint of pine resin, caramel, orange and grapefruit peel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, earthy, leafy, and piney hops upfront. The bready malts, pine resin, and caramel follow suit. The orange and grapefruit peel round out the brew alongside the earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops lingering.
Overall - A flavourful IPA that showcases the citrus, earthy, leafy, and piney hops well. A pleasant brew in which I could have multiple cans of. Nice to see more East Coast brews come into Cowtown!

Catching up some rates from last weeks trip to Newfoundland. Taster at the source. Dark brown black in color with a tan head. Earthy light roast with bits of citrus and pine. Damn tasty old school black IPA.

On tap at Coastal Restaurant in Igonish, NS. Pours clear reddish amber with a thick, persistent head and lots of lacing. Initial impression is clean citrus, tangerine, and a little pine resin bitterness, all nicely balanced by the light touch of caramel malts. Mouthfeel is medium; carbonation is perfect. Finish is bitter citrus. This is a really nice AIPA - way beyond my expectations for local NS craft brews. It actually is beyond my expectations for many well-known US craft breweries! Well done!!!

Hazy orange with large head. Piney citrus hop nose. Firm medium malt body. Hops do not overpower finish. Great balance.

Really good "New England" style unfiltered IPA. From a 16oz can, approx. 3 months old. Light nose of mango and orange. The taste is pithy citrus and rounded out with lingering pine. Had this in Dingwall while I was on vacation exploring Cape Breton Highlands. The locals should be pleased to have this brewery around!
