Seven hop additions lead to flavours of tropical fruits, berries and tangerine, balanced by a caramel finish. This New England Style Pale Ale packs a lot of hop flavour without the bitterness.

A-Medium orange with a yellow glow, and a slightly off white head
S-Subtle fruit aroma with an element of pine and malt fragrance
M-Low end carbonation with medium body and a dry finish
T-Modest sweetness upfront with an orange pith bitterness quickly taking over
O-Returned from the East coast of Canada by a friend, Reminds my of a simpler day of West Coast IPAs even though it is a Pale Ale...

Appearance - Pours a rusty copper with four fingers of bubbly copper head.
Smell - earthy, citrus, and piney hops, bready malts, caramel, dark fruits, orange peel, raspberry, pineapple and other tropical fruits, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, citrus, and piney hops upfront. The bready malts, caramel, dark fruits, orange peel, raspberry, and pineapple follow suit. The brew is finished off by the earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes slighly sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A "New England stlye Pale Ale" that is more like an APA. The appearance and aroma suggest to me that this is more of an APA than anything. Flavours are alright but nothing that makes it a stand out. A tad disappointing in my eyes.

Catching up some rates from last weeks trip to Newfoundland. Taster at the source. Slightly hazy deep yellow almost golden with a small white head. Earthy light pine and hints of citrus with some bready maltiness and a hint of astringency. Not bad.

Clear gold with a strong head. Juicy grapefruit citrus nose. Smooth medium malt body with a balanced hop bite. A refreshing beer.
