On tap at the brewery, 4oz sample: Opaque black color with good swirl reaction. Flavors of oysters, tobacco, dark berries, raisins, roasted grains, walnuts, light wood, and herbal hops. Slick medium body with lots of carbonation, almost crispy. Strong strength chalky finish, quite leafy and highly spicy that feels like a barleywine. A bit basic and above average overall in quality.
