Its pulpy apricot orange body is very enticing. The off-white head on top is thick and sticks like tape.
Punchy, juicy, overripe pineapple kicks you in the face. Heaps of clementine and candied mandarin oranges. A dash of ethanol peaks through but is sweetened up by golden honey and biscuits. As it warms, sticky green leaf and pine come into the picture.
There's a roll reversal in the taste. It's more coniferous, sappy, bitter and cedary green than it is a tropical punch bomb. The pineapple is unripe and its sticky leafy bitterness topples over a citrus peel bass note.
Its stern medium body packs plenty of dryness and stick.
A fresh, old school aggressive American IPA with a long lasting evergreen bitterness. The alcohol is tucked away well, as is its malt profile. I can picture Greg Nash saying "this is a fucking IPA". Indeed, it is.

On tap at the brewery, 4oz sample: Hazy dark straw color, good swirl reaction. Flavors of lemon, pineapples, grapefruits, caramel, sweet grains, and leafy hops. Silky medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Okay freshness. Medium to strong strength finish. It's piney and tropical, a pretty standard feel with nothing special to note. Overall good quality SMASH.

Very nice aroma and smooth taste! Strong flavours of pine and citrus, not a strong bitterness but is nicely balanced. Good stuff!
