It pours like a carbonated apricot smoothie. Creamy orange with a dense, frothy cap of head.
Pineapple pulls me in. It's got depth - its sweetness and ripeness. An XL bag of fuzzy peaches. Candied pine. It's so firm and plump.
There's a coarseness to the green piney, grassy bitterness. It's upfront and helps pull this tropical IPA away from the juice bombs that dominate the style. Ripe and juicy flips to pulpy and pithy here. Sticky lips and a fuzzy peach mark the finish.
Medium bodied with plenty of life. The bubbles are tiny and plentiful. Sappy, dry, zesty.
I love this beer. This nails the balance of fruity and gritty for me.
