The Gravedigger Imperial Pumpkin Ale is a gourdgeous delight that originated with home-brewer Ryan Palmer and became something of legend when Hogie and Ryan brewed the next version. You’ll find the malt bill amped up compared to other versions of this seasonal style to give the beer a full base, and to hold up to the several varieties of spices and elixirs which paint a palatable portrait of liquid pumpkin pie.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades very slowly, leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Vanilla/nutmeg nose, flavor follows with nutmeg, then vanilla finish. Higher ABV, 6.5%, is hidden. Gift, 500ml bottle.

Dark orange with a moderate head. Spice and malt nose. Body is light-medium with big pumpkin & spice notes. Crisp feel. Not sessionable,
