I love this beer . Very smooth and has just the right amount of hoops in its taste.

On tap at the brewery: Clear, slight haze, dark straw/light golden color with good activity. Shy 1 finger head that last a couple of minutes, light legs but a decent swirl. Flavors of pineapples, light grapefruits, sweet barley, caramel, and herbal hops. Smooth and almost silky medium body with a light crisp. Medium strength finish, mostly tropical and piney, a bit leafy and citrusy. Balanced bitterness/sweetness. Good freshness, well intensified and balanced, though needs more carbonation. Overall very good quality craft and quite drinkable.

Hazy red- gold with a smallish head. Big citrus hop nose. Well-balanced malt body with a proper hoppy finish. Smooth rather than crisp. Good beer.

Serving Type: 500 mL Bottle
L- Pours a pale yellow topped by a 1 1/2 finger foamy white head. Half decent retention with thin rings of lacing.
S- Citrus rind with a yeasty undertone.
T- Caramel malt and stonefruit, finished with a bitter citrus hoppiness Still getting a slight yeasty undertone. Well balanced.
F- Medium-heavy body and moderate carbonation.
O- Overall a pretty decent IPA, although I think it has way too much yeasty action to be thrown in with American IPA's.

Beer #3 of my CANBIF box from the east coast. This is a pleasant enough beer - balanced malt/hop character, with nothing distinctive. I would drink it again, if it was sent my way. However, I wouldn't actively seek it out.
