On tap at the brewery: Cloudy and deep hazy golden color with some activity. Decent legs and swirl reaction. Weak half a finger head. Flavors of apricot, sweet barley, caramel, lemon, apples, wild yeast, with floral and herbal hops. Slick medium body with a light crisp. Medium to strong strength finish, lots of maillard reaction, slightly vinous and dry, quite fruity and slightly hoppy. Strong presence of barrel effect, though apricot feel is subtle. Decent freshness while lacking a bit. Lots of caramel sugars, attenuation is not quite up there, hits the complexion and balance. Overall good quality craft.
