I had this beer on-tap in a 12oz glass at the brewery.
Appearance: light brown hue with a bit of haze and a finger of creamy tan foam.
Smell: rich dark fruit aroma, figs and plums. Rich and enticing; I very much like it.
Taste: sweet dark fruitiness of fig and raisin. The brewer says this is made with some fig and hazelnut syrup. I don't get overt hazelnut, but you can't argue with results -- the flavor is great.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a low level of carbonation -- it's cask, eh? Still nice.
Overall: a great mild. Flavored like a much stronger beer.
