a hazy and new school style hazy ipa, done exclusively with mosaic hops, and while its mighty samey in this day and age, i think they did a fine job with it, although the hoppy beers were not the ones that impressed me as much on our visit here. this is very cloudy and not particularly lively from the tap, but it has an incredibly mosaic forward nose, which really is the beers best feature. juicy and fruity, with pineapple and mango notes, ripe and fresh, none of the sometimes cat pee thing i get from mosaic, but also very little bitterness here, it seems to be pretty much all in the dry hop, and i think it leaves the beer a little one dimensional, its like mosaic tea or something, even with the haze there isnt a lot of grain character, and without the bitterness, it never quite gets there for me. that said, its a mighty fine expression of mosaic, especially in the nose, and it tastes very fresh to me. i like the fluffier feel, its nice with all the fruity hops, but the grain doesnt have much happening with it in terms of flavor. overall a decent beer, somewhat more of a pale than an ipa, but tasty, if annoyingly trend following...

Some blueberry from the Mosaic hops, but not as much as one might hope for. A bit of Amber malt. Some pale malt.

Cask ale like undercarbonation. Coating, smooth, wet, approachable. Lacks body.

Drinkable and enjoyable, but ultimately a forgettable IPA - especially for a single hop Mosaic expression of the style.
