Drank this on the day of Mandelas 100th birthday in tribute to the legend!
So a straw yellow hazy looking ale with a big white head that dissapeted quite quick. Yeast floating around in the glass.
Smells like an IPA, but not too strong on the hops. Grapefruit, yeast, bread, hops, sweet bitterness.
Taste again grapefruit, bit of hops, wheat, banana, bread. Great taste. Almost no bitterness on the tongue or throat, leaves a refreshing feel in the mouth. Alcohol is very well hidden.
So an IPA brewed with grapefruit juice. Great beer, extra points for the artwork on the can and just as great name. Can’t go wrong with this one! Best IPA I’ve had!!
