Twas the night of christmas and down the sewer, something was lurking, a festive evildoer.
Born of hangovers and fights and unwanted gifts, and rotten mistletoe that's never seen a kiss.
He plans to destroy christmas, so go check your cellar.
To avoid being taken by the... Christmas Hating Underground Dweller.

Copenhagen 6/12 2022. 40 cl. from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet candy-like odor of dessert mingling with subdued alcohol. Chocolate milkshake, cocoa, bitter dark chocolate. Whiff of dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, creamy, fat, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is sugary and boozy.
A healthy and heavy dessert.

C.H.U.D. Or The Christmas Hating Underground Dweller is a pitch black beer with a good light brown head.
It smells just like a piña colada. Sweet pineapple, coconut and cane sugar.
Taste is heavy on the coconut with a decent sweetness.
Does NOT feel like a 10% abv stout! Almost too mild mouthfeel and a lingering bubblegumish taste.
For a Christmas beer this is as far away from it that can be - but it works! Somehow this just hits the spot!
