Copenhagen 22/12 2023. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a huge beige head. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with alcohol and a whiff of citrus fruit. Caramel and toffee. Touch of dark rum. Orange and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Citric streak. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable tart undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A surprisingly tart Imperial Stout.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 12%. Black colour, no head, minimal carbonation. Intense aroma of roast malts and peanut butter, also notes of chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma. Way too sweet, way too much peanut butter. Some bittering hops. Unbalanced and unpleasant - drainpour.
