On tap at the brewery.
Jet black with a dark brown head, this looks great. The nose is excellent. Clean, roasty, mildly grainy with a blend of toasted grains, a little cocoa and a mild coffee roast, this smells very good. A light fruitiness is present as well. The palate opens with a blend of roasted grain, mildly bitter, with a light but deep caramel bitterness. The toasted Munich malt expression is really nice here. Faint cocoa notes are present. Soft on the palate, medium light in body and with a long but clean finish that emphasizes the grain and the roast flavors, this is pretty excellent.
