This is probably the best beer I had on my most recent visit. From reading the other 2 reviews I'm not sure we were drinking the same beer. This one pours a nice amber color with a minimal head. It has a nice semi-sweet roasted malt flavor, and I liked the lack of bitter hops. This tasted like a true German beer. Very Good. 29 IBUs Rated 10-20-2023

Look: Ruby-red-amber and clear with a sudsy beige head that settles to a pillow and leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Raw bread dough, toffee, melanoidin, floral hops, toasted bread crust, and some malt sweetness
Taste: A blast of doughy bread and floral hops kick it off and quickly joined by waves of bready dark malt sweetness and toast. Melanoidin and toffee show up after the bread subsides and closes with a bouquet of flowers
Mouthfeel: Full but light, very clean, medium-high carbonation, and a clean and crisp finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a tasty and well-made Marzen that to me, drinks like a Festbier in that I get a lot of floral hop goodness throughout. I’ve been impressed recently with these folks (see: Kascadia Kolsch) and this fits right into that label as well
