Beer NV

 

This is a new beer bar in the extremely popular South Creek Shopping Center in Reno. We chose to go on a Friday evening and the place was PACKED! Very unique bar. They had 60 beers on tap, all shown on television screens behind the bar with a bar showing the level of beer left in the keg. Many common beers, some seasonals, some uniques, but I'd say at least half of them were from "local" breweries (within a couple hundred miles). Hard to really gauge the service since the place was so busy and are the waitress servicing our table was running in circles but it did get quite irritating waiting so long, even just to get a water. The bar doesn't serve any food but allows food brought in and delivered from some of the other restaurants in the shopping center. Saw a few tables with South Creek Pizza and the delivery guy from Yosh's made a few stops. In all, a very cool concept and great to see such a local beer presence but if I go back it will be on a weekday.
