Coffee beans and toasted coconut thrown in the fermenter and aged to perfection. The crushed coffee bean and toasted coconut enhance the roasted malt and lactose for a rich velvety smooth beer.

So the title is a little misleading. Reubenesque was the original Oatmeal stout produced by Starving Artist and it was my favorite Michigan Oatmeal Stout which is saying alot. As far as I know it is no longer produced. What is being brewed is CCR which is Coconut Coffee Rubenesque. This is just a wonderful Stout! No longer distributed as far as I know it is only available at the tasting room. So I usually pick up a couple of six packs to go and enjoy a pint or 2 there.
