22oz brown bomber, sample from the brewery.
A good looking brew with enough head to leave some lacing behind. Roasted character is somewhat restrained, some sweetness comes through in the middle. Modest hopping ... some bitterness but the flavor is more earthy and herbal. Dark fruit and more of a mildly burnt toast flavor in the earthy charcoal-like finish. An enjoyable brew to try, a tweak here and there with the roasted character and it would be a Porter to reckon with.
