A- Tallboy into a glass with a clear medium gold body. The cap shoots up rapidly to about two inches high with a puffy texture and decent retention. Several webs of lace cascade down the glass.
S- A fairly balanced mix of pale Pils grains and medium-strength hops with a clean ferment. Bready, slightly sweet cereal character to the malts with hints of lemon, herbal and spicy hops.
T- The flavor changes quite a bit compared to the aroma with esters like pear and vinous white grapes really coming out along with a medium sweetness, for the style. The hops are still there amidst this and some pale, crackery and bready grains with spicy, herbal tea and grassy hints. Hops a bit drowned out by the other prominent flavors.
MF- The body overall is light-medium and has a texture between fluffy and frothy. The carbonation is at a moderately high level and it all ends with an herbal bitterness.
Starts off with a really promising aroma that is smack on for the style. The flavor brings some intense esters and some sweetness which hurt the style's characteristic hops.

From the 650 ml. bottle with a bottling date of 4/19/16. Sampled on May 21, 2016.
The pour is golden yellow, with a slight haze, and bubbly carbonation leading up to a long-lasting white foamy head.
Traditional German Pilsener aromas of toasted malts, crackers, grass, and a little apple or pear.
Medium or better body.
The taste is toasted sweet cracker malts with a low profile of apple or pear and then a mild to moderate grassy bitter end. This is right on the money for the style. I hope you get to try it.
