From the 16 oz. can. Sampled on November 3, 2018.
Attractive looking heady light to medium amber pour. Good clarity.
The aroma brings out sweet malts for sure but there is also this odd, off vegetable mash character. Low to no hop profile.
Light to medium body.
The taste has a malt sweetness for certain but again there is this unlikable vegetable mash thing going on. Mild finish. I have had better and bolder Marzens.

This beer was copper colored. It had a one inch off-white head that disappeared quickly.
The aroma was caramel and some grassy hops.
Lots of caramel in the taste, with a tiny hint of hops in the aftertaste.
A smooth, easy-drinking Oktoberfest. On the sweet side.

Can to mug, the appearance was a semi-dark rust copper to amber color with a steady two finger white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. A light ring of lace wove around the top of the beer nicely with some stringy lace gliding downwards nicely.
The aroma had a nice blend of caramel malts with an ample balance of some biscuit smooth lager notes and earthy/grassy hop bitterings rounding out the edges pretty nice.
The flavor leaned malty sweet initially and developed some of that earthy to grassy hop bittering moderation pretty nice. Aftertaste was malty smooth with it's lager yeasty notes conglomerating just as I liked it.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a very nice sessionability about it. Carbonation was spot on. ABV felt right on. Finish was nice and smooth.
Overall, pretty nice Oktoberfest beer well worthy of having again.
