I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle pine with ripe citrus mix. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with ripe citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

This is an often overlooked New England IPA. I think it’s a perfect example of the style. Love it!

Look- nice carbonation that fades out but leaves a nice lacing.
Smell- loaded with grapefruit and mango. Quite fragrant.
Taste- Dry after taste. Orange, predominant grapefruit.
Feel- full bodied.
Impression- Quite impressed with this brew. It has character and a punch at 7%. I would recommend. Tastes like double IPA.

From pounder can dated 2 weeks before today. Poured into 20 oz cockeyed hand-made glass after warming up at room temp for half hour from fridge temp.
L: cloudy with inch of head, which dissipates within a couple of minutes, leaving bubbly lacing. Color of original Cetol varnish: cloudy, opaque, orange-ish.
S: pine, citrus, dank funk, slight sweet rotting fruit
T: pine, biscuit, resolving into flat bitterness with slight harshness; very little hint of alcohol
F: somewhat thick, sticky, oily
Overall: drank first can cold, right from the cooler and was disappointed. 10 degrees warmer and it's much better. Not much malt. Hops flavors are good, if not very complex, and it all stops quite suddenly in a flat bitterness that deadens any finish, much less a long finish. Tastes like there is ambition behind it and subsequent efforts could be interesting.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a two finger head, reduces to a bubbly halo, nice stream of bubbles, moderate lacing.

Aromas of peach, pine, and orange overall, with notes of mossy earth, tea, apple, and pineapple.

Taste is similar to the nose, citrus, apricot, pine, and moss. Maybe some white grapes and lemon too. It leans towards the earthy over fruity. Clean, dry, slight pine bitterness.

Feel is light to medium bodied, smooth, light and sharp carbonation.

Overall it's another tasty NE style IPA. What sets this one apart is it's piney bitterness and overall earthiness. It's definitely something I would drink regular if it were available near me.

L: Pours a super hazy orange.
S: Citrus, stone fruit, pine.
T: Tons of orange, tangerine, mango, and a pronounced pine presence.
F: Really smooth, slightly dry.
O: An excellent 2nd NE IPA from these guys. This one is more piney and "dank" than their other one, Pulp Truck. This one reminds me a bit of Substance, in a way.
