In-laws brought this back from Brazil, shared with rudzud
Pours a light foamy head with low retention, fades quickly, decent legs, pitch black beer

Nose isn't too bad, fair nutty aroma, peanuts and hazelnuts, toasted biscuity peanutbutter, sweet candy like malt and caramel notes, a bit of roasty coffee and burnt characters, toasted biscuity, very nutty toasty biscuity and coffee

Taste is meh, thin coffee water, roasted slight metallic base with burnt coffee and burnt fudge, nutty but again burnt nutty somehow, fudgey and cocoa, peanutbutter character but watered down, biscuity cookie wafer thing, fair bitterness, sticky sweet finish like, little metallic roast

Mouth is med sticky bod, med carb, a touch of alcohol

Overall eh

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this bottle.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown hue with a thin head that faded quickly to leave a light halo and no real wisps.

S - Aromas of stale chocolate, flashes of almost buttery peanuts. There are super generic nutty aromas, however, there are burnt old/stale peanuts that is super offensive.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, little bit of creamy chocolate. The nuttiness is rather generic, not overly peanuty, rather hazelnut. There isn't much in the way of fresh peanutbutter. The nuts just come across as old/stale like then did on the nose.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little creamy. Alcohol hidden well.

O - Overall this was a very underwhelming beer. Tons of burnt nut flavoure and aroma going on, with the base being rather old. Overall this was just a shame.
