Served in a small tasting glass.
Appearance: Semi cloudy deep colored Amber color with medium bubbles to the body. Head is slg Htoynoff-white rising roughly half a finger's length and dropping quick with slight uneven lacing.
Smell: Sweet scent consisting of melted sugar and hints of red wine. A little light but super likeable smell.
Taste: Sweet brandy and malts with touch of barley. Bitter and sweet, like candy. Has a strong alcohol feel but super smooth.
Mouth: Medium body with an equal carbonation. Has a unique sweet finish which the brandy feel is super evident.
Overall: Classic brew and one of the better barleywines I've had in Europe. Feels even better like a palate cleanser. With only 660 bottles produced good luck finding it. Salud.
