Brewed specially at Marston's for Wetherspoons festival. This amber coloured beer had a decent white head which left considerable lacing. The indistinctive 'spoons nose phenomenon struck again but I could make out a hint of lemon. This began with a rich, earthy, slightly blue cheesy flavour which was then backed by a pleasantly lemony hoppy edge. Not really what I would associate with an IPA, but interesting nonetheless. The feel was delightfully smooth.
