Served cold from 500ml brown bottle into pint mug.
L) Medium to deep amber colour, clear, thin bubbly film only.
S) Nice smelling fragrant new-world hops, although it is quite faint. Fair enough I have chilled this one maybe too much.
T) Follows the nose; juicy new world hops (sorry I'm not an expert at identifying the variety. Backed up with a bit of deep malt flavour. At 3.8% this has decent flavour, mainly coming from the hops. Very little bitterness.
F) Thinnish like a typical English session ale. Not much fizz and no bitter aftertaste.
O) This one was £1 from the supermarket now the Ashes series has finished. Well worth that, I would buy it again; the hop flavour is very pleasant although with little depth.

Brewed to commemorate England fast bowler (cricket) Jimmy Anderson.
Honey gold. Hoppy aroma. Balanced malt and hop. Some grain.
Standard Marston bitter. Nothing special.
