Very happy with this beer, I regularly buy this but sometimes get better taste and aroma from same beer b9ttles. The best are full of flavour great smell and amazing once a few in.
I always buy this beer in local store and feel this one of the best.
Great mouthful, taste and awesome taste.
Very happy with the taste and one to brew yourself.

Review: 500ml bottle of Harper’s Wild Bill’s IPA (Filtered): 5.0% vol.
Harper's Wild Bill's Brewed specifically for Aldi by Marston’s brewery using the name “Harper’s”. Bought in Aldi! Calls itself “an unashamed American style IPA”. The logo is well cool, showing a buffalo skull, cacti and five-point ranger stars all pointing to an American Wild West feel about this beer.
On pour get a stunning amber coloured beer with a decent white head that looks very deep and soulful, waiting to be devoured, looks great. Head does die a little but still looks pretty decent overall.
Lovely frothy white head and nice amber colour with a hint of red shining through, a fantastic looking beer.
The nose is a typical IPA aroma, nice on the nose but light. Fruity and citrusy aromas, spicy, malty and hoppy. Ok.
On the taste, getting hit with the spices right off the bat, and it has the feel of an English bitter rather than a regular IPA, but nothing to excite me. Bit bland in the taste and I am searching for something to set it apart from any of the more regular IPA’s you can buy.
Strong in the hops for sure, but not really going down too well, a bit “urgh”.
Hopped to the hilt, not liked, the spices and the bitter aftertaste not doing it for me at all, “yuck!”. Was a struggle to finish the two bottles truth be told! Disappointing considering how well it looks on the pour.

Lovely brown/dark red colour. Drank it Ken Barlow style out of a dimpled half pint glass. More bitter than expected, maybe even a touch metallic but not overwhelmingly so. Got stuck into some mature cheddar while I was at it and it worked. Claims to be an American IPA but overall would probably suit a grey day in front of the cricket than anything you're likely to find stateside.

Bottle from Aldi. Amber in colour. Thin wispy head.
Mild citrus hop aroma. A little bit of a tangy bouquet.
Taste follows the smell. A rather grating bitterness finishes the experience.
Light to moderate feel.
Definitely a subdued UK offering of a US beer.

Pours clear dark amber into a glass from a bottle. Offwhite head is bubbly and frothy leaving thick lacing. Aroma is citrusy and pine-laden with sticky malts. Flavour is more bitter than is let on by the nose. After the initial zesty flavour comes a drastic change in the palate; the aftertaste brings a huge sweeping metallic and rusty/amber flavour as if you'd taken a quaff of red ale. Very earthy, peppery with blood orange and vegetative bitters. body is light-medium with zippy carbonation. Overall it's a bit nicer than I was expecting but still a little too bitter.

Bottled
Pours a light brown body with decent enough white head
Big citra aroma There's lime and sherbert and caramel
There's more a UK Ipa flavour though
Pedestrian but still walking
