(Notes of 24/04/2007) Tasted by a half-pint at the Capitol, a JDW pub at Forest Hill, SE London.
A: lightly murky amber with a thin white head and low carbonation.
S: fruity, but very restrained, with faint citrus-ness and floral hints.
T: mainly fruits (slightly pear-ish & apple-ly) and watery pale maltiness come upfront, followed by pronounced bitter hoppiness, a tad dry in the end.
M&D: texture is soft and body is moderate, with a good bitter aftertaste but rather thin and simplistic in overall performance.
