Bottled and purchased from budget supermarket supermarket B&Ms
Pale orange appearance, with the faintest haze. Has their trademark tang on the theoat, with some sweet malt and biscuit flavours. Nettles and grassiness also in there somewhere. Not too bad.

This beer was brewed for the Royal wedding and the name is also to do with the union brewing system at the brewery.
The clear 50ml bottle (best before 31 Mar 2012) was opened and reviewed on 19 May 2011.
Dark, deep amber, golden syrup sort of colour, the off-white head leaving some solid lacing as the beer level fell.
The smell was of sweet molasses, caramel and treacle with the taste being suprisingly dryer than the aromas suggested. The over riding flavours were of malts, yet a hop bitterness is never far from the surface.
Although I liked the actual taste of the beer I thought the body to be thin and over carbonated, in fact almost fizzy.
Would like to try it in cask form.
