Evgeny Tolstov came over to Banks's brewery in Wolverhampton to brew this for the March 2012 Wetherspoons Beer Festival.
Looks grand: Stout black with a biege creamy head on top.
Burnt/roasted/toasted malts with no sweetness in the nose and taste: black coffee beans and dark chocolate notes make up the flavours.
Not as rich or creamy as it looked: had some depth of body but it wasn't full enough in my eyes.
Decent and interesting: I'd certainly have another if it comes around again.
