On tap at the brewpub.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt yellow color some chill haze to it but also a certain transparency about it. Mild cap of a little white foamy head. Slid off to leave some mellow non-retaining lace.
The aroma had some grassy hops, super light spicy/black peppery whiff, earthy character and some oats and honey.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side taking the grassy hops to mesh with the oats and honey. Spiciness is leaner in this department. Barely any aftertaste, but somewhat grassy with a touch of oats.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and some smooth malty character leads into a fairly quick yet semi-dry finish.
Overall, as an APA, it works and can go well with any food this brewpub has to offer.

Had in a sampler at the grand opening. A little different flavor but nice. A little spicy and malt forward. This is a decent beer that you would need to try for yourself as it may not be for everyone.
