Not much of an IPA, as it tends to have more of a pale ale flavor to it. The light hop taste is followed by powerful smokey malts. Very drinkable and pleasant, just different.

Had in a sampler during their grand opening. This is an IPA with smoked malt. Not something I would normally seek out. I will say they were light with the smoked malt and the flavor was actually pleasant in the beer. It is not a big IBU ipa and comes off more as a pale ale. The smoke also gives off a bit of a sweet taste. Not a lot of hop presence, but a pleasant beer.
