La Cambre has returned! I never heard of it before, supposedly it is actually an abbey beer, and was relaunched about a month ago. Not many reviews here on Beer Advocate, I assume this is fairly unknown...but it has existed since 1201 apparently...wow!
Very smooth frothy head...quite bright yellow colour, almost like Duvel, but darker.
Aroma is deep and mystical...and quite apricotty. But still bitter and well balanced...
Quite complex, tingly mouth feel. Very frothy, bready cakey apricot, sweet banana, and a lightly bitter finale. The taste is quite unique and different from any other tripel or beer that I can recall from memory. It's kind of smooth, but doesn't really invigorate me.
Good, unique , but not at all close to an abbey Chimay, Duvel Tripel Hop or West Coast IPA from the West Coast.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
