12 OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with less than an inch of mocha head that leaves virtually no lacing.
I smelled chocolate as soon as I poured it. I also get vanilla and caramel. Bourbon comes through as it warms.
I taste chocolate and marshmallow/vanilla in the first few sips. Then as is warms the bourbon comes out. Bourbon becomes even more apparent as it approaches room temperature.
Full mouthfeel with low carbonation
I was absolutely blown away by this beer. I have been disappointed in some "s'mores" beer before. This is a beer that the taste actually exceeds my expectations based on reading the label. I didn't believe that it was 15% either until I looked up the release information. I love it and wish I had more of it. I am a dessert beer fan. Those who do not like dessert beers may have a different experience than me. I still have yet to find a Quaff Bros. collaboration that I dislike.
