Berlin Brewing Co.

This small brewery/tasting room is located along busy Route 30 (White Horse Pike) in a quiet town in eastern Camden County. It's housed in a multi-tenanted building with good parking. The tasting room is small but comfortable with a large bar area and tables. When I visited the clientele was mostly local and clearly enjoyed their home-town brewery. The bartender was friendly. There are abundant food options nearby and you can bring outside food into the tasting room. The beer itself was solid. I enjoyed my visit.

Berlin Brewing Co. is just an old cinderblock building that they've converted but they've done a good job of it and it looks nice. There's really not much else in the area, and I don't think anyone would expect that a start-up could build new, so there's that. Design-wise you've got the exposed cinderblock, which is more charming than you might think, blue grey walls, and lots of blonde wood. There are three picnic tables in the center of the room, and tall stools along the bar and front window. Apart from that they've got a baseball theme going on which is pretty cool.

There are 10 beers on tap which are properly planned for the season. Except for a few regulars the beers are always changing. There's no food but you can bring it in and there's New Chinatown and Scotto Pizza right across the street, and plenty of other stuff within a short distance, and of course, delivery.
