We bet you didn’t see this one coming. This is a one-of-a-kind bock that’s packed full of rich flavors yet is surprisingly smooth. Baffle your friends when you hand them a Knuckle Bock.

12 ounce can into a pilsner glass. Had 8/2/23.
Pours a nice looking caramel color, fairly clear. Was a bit of a gusher, and even dribbling the second pour it was all foam- and took awhile to convert to beer. Aromas of caramel, malt, some dark bread, light chocolate. Has a little bit of a sweet aroma. Mostly the same flavors- caramel, malt, light chocolate, a light bitterness on the finish. Tastes floral and a little sweet. Smooth, a very good lighter body, appropriately carbonated- after the foam dissipated, it was totally normal.
This is pretty good. Lively aromas and flavors, and the chocolate notes are light but impactful. A little sweet for the style, but not a negative.

From a can come from Monthly Club. Pours a lovely honey brown. Not much on the nose. Light caramel flavors, a little toasted bread, and enough hops to keep it honest. A decent entry into the Bock genre, which we don't see often enough at craft breweries.

One inch of tan head and a clear amber brown color. There are toasted grains and caramels on the nose. A hint of yeast sneaks in at the end. The taste is sweet molasses and rye bread. The Finish is a light quickly fading bitterness. There is a nice creamy mouth feel to this. A perfectly OK beer.

Ruby brown color where the light passes easily through the center of the glass. Clear. Moderate head but minimal lacing.
The sweet aroma reminds me of caramel and chocolate. I know I'm imagining this, but I also pick up some peanut butter. No notable hop, naturally.
Creamy and chocolatey, the flavor is sweet but not cloying. The body is appropriately rich but the carbonation exceeds any other Bock I've had. The finish draws out some alcohol and light bitterness. The aftertaste is short ending dry with unsweetened cocoa.

Just picked a 6-pack from my local H-E-B grocery store out of curiosity since it stated it was a Bock. I pour it on a glass. Head is small, I was expecting more of it. Look amber at the bottom dark brown as closer to the head. The taste and feel on the mouth were more than expected well balanced carbonation. Overall highly recommended. High contender to my favorite Texas Beer Shiner Bock. Just wish it had a fuller head.
