Murky copper appearance
Medium bodied with above average carbonation
Aroma is a nice mix of clove, orange peel,something close to bubblegum but there is a bit of a medicinal smell.
Taste is almost sweet but then the bitterness shows up and builds eventually taking over
Overall its an interesting and pleasant beer

A: hazy; bronze in color; 1 finger tan head that receded quickly to a very thin collar; no lacing;
S: clover balanced with something medicinal;
T: clove with pepper in the background from start to finish; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; high, prickly carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: flavor was much better than the aroma;

A: Pours a pale reddish/orange color. A one finger white head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: A peppery spice up front with light phenols. Orange peal and grassy hops in the finish. Very simple, but enjoyable.
T: Like the nose more peppery clove like spice and phenols. Actually that takes over a little in the middle, and finishes with orange peal, grassy hops and bitterness. Enjoyable.
M/O: A light to medium body. Crisp, effervescent carbonation. Clean and smooth at the same time. Easy to drink, probably the one beer I would come back to most if at the brewery.
This is a very nice and simple Belgian, more of a pale than a full on IPA but no bother. If I see this around town, I will definitely get more.
