22 Diciembre 2020. De Belgiuminabox. En copa Grimbergen. Perfil cítrico y herbal muy agradable y bebible, no notándose nada el elevado alcohol que presenta.

L. Very pale brown glass bottle, tall and slim, so you get to see everything going on as you uncap it.
Pours mid amber. Could pour clear in one go with care. If you put the bottle down mid-pour you pick up some sediment after. (Even being reasonably careful sediemtn is left in the bottle, not that I'm suggesting that is a -ve to the taste/etc at this moment, it won't be. Big pillowy white head.
S - Quite bright and piquant.
T - Boof, a big glob of foam head somehow got sucked in first, it's really thick like clotted cream, nice! definitely Tripel in style, deep pungent, spicy, very very subtle citrus? and so on it's very nice.
F - Pungent, deep taste, trad, monastic.... which ever elements within that you'll find here.
O - This for it's understated labelling is one of those beers that is just an immediate stand-out star. This probably only happens with about one in 50+ new beers from this region for me. And I'm serving this a touch warm, chilled off I'd hope and expect it to be better still. I really like this one. Beautiful balance, I need to buy this again.
