This was an unexpected gem! Located in the Loft hotel I wasn't expected to be as impressed as I was. Note there is a very good wine bar across the hotel lobby from the brewery. May have to stay here next time I am in town : )
It is a modern space with lots of windows so it feels light and airy. There is also an outdoor patio that I think is shared by the brewery and the wine bar.
The menu is a mix of local fare and bistro style offerings. Our food was fresh, tasty and not overly heavy. Free peanuts while you wait.
I counted 5 house beers with the dark lager being my favorite. Service was good and most of the staff spoke English.
If you are staying in Old Town and decide to hike up to the war monument, include this place as your reward for all those steps!

I visited Fabrika when I was hanging out for a couple days in Bratislava last weekend. On my visit they had 5 of their own beers on tap: a light lager, dark lager, APA, weizen, light pale lager (2.6% !), along with Pilsner Urquell as a guest tap. They also have a full bar, and a bistro-type menu. The dark lager was excellent, as was the light lager. The APA was not quite as good; their wheelhouse does seem to be more in the lager arena.
They've got a really beautiful restaurant / taproom. It's kind a bistro type place attached to a hotel lobby, but still it's quite welcoming, with all wood and light brick. It feels both like a warm pub but still remains light and airy; the brewing equipment is all out next to the taproom which I always love.
Service at the bar is good and the bartender has great English; my lack of any Slovak was not an impediment at all.

This brew pub is located in the Loft Hotel, which of course I booked for our one night stay in Bratislava. Fabrika has a good sized indoor restaurant and a nice outdoor beer garden. There were four of their beers on tap when we were there including a light lager, a dark lager, a weizen, and an American Pale Ale. While I realize those styles aren't particularly adventurous for the typical American craft drinker, I'm perfectly happy with those choices given the right setting, such as a Slovakian beer garden. I found their beers were good for the styles and the food we had there was traditional and good as well. Nicely located about halfway between Old Town and the train station, this place is worth a stop or an overnight stay if you're in Bratislava
