the only lager these guys are doing right now. its probably the most simple (in terms of flavor) beer on the menu here right now, but also one of the most well made, true to style, and pleasing. i like local lagers, something about a good one always beats one from far away. i dont know if they oxidize more frequently or what, but something about a local draft lager like this really hits me right. predictably pale yellow and clear, short head on it, pure white, nice carbonation, low medium body, and more hops than other german types, although not out of place. fresh fresh fresh on the grain front, simple and clean, but with enough sweetness to carry some flavor through to the finish and balance the grassy limey honey flavored hops. its carefully built and patiently fermented. i like their yeast in it, just a little flavor to it, bready, breakfast biscuits or something, its all real groovy. i could drink this beer by the gallon on a hot day, but it isnt too light for winter sessions either. definitely one to try when you check these guys out!
