Tractor Beam Oatmeal Stout

a winter stout for sure, served on nitro, its delicious, but it is an undertaking, even at this lower abv, its still a lot of beer to work though. it is just so thick and dense, especially with the creamy weight of the nitrogen its filling and sizable even without being an imperial or anything. lots of awesome dark grain in it, chocolate malt for sure, but also a much deeper roast that has an aroma and flavor of good espresso. very little bitterness though, i think the oats in this must provide a little bit of sweetness to balance it. its literally like fudge textured though, super intense, almost concentrated or reduced or something, kind of neat because its original, but a glass was enough for me and my lady. of all the beers on tap here, this is one of the most traditional, at least on paper, but one sip confirms its as original and unique to them as the others on the menu. this place is super fun, i cant wait to go back. this one will be a good choice on a snowy windy night, warm you right up.
